Saturday 4th and 11th November
There will be no organised Junior rides for the next 2 weekends. Juniors are encouraged to join the normal Dulwich Paragon Road Ride which leave the velodrome at 9am on Saturday morning.
Parents/Guardians please note: There will no ‘coach’ guiding these rides however there are numerous responsible adults who will I’m sure keep an eye out for your charge. It’s important however that you check that your child sets out on a working well maintained bike with a working mobile phone, your contact details and some emergency money. Please ensure that you are available to rescue your charge should the need arise.
Wednesday 8th CX skills session
Juniors and strong youths are invited to join the adult CX skills session held at Herne Hill at 7.30 on Wednesday evening. It will be dark – decent lights are essential.
Sunday 12th November
Rd 8 of the London League at Leeds Castle in Kent. A tough course held in the grounds of the ‘Worlds loveliest Castle’, Dulwich are promoting this round which has become renowned as one of the more challenging courses in the calendar and certainly one not to be missed.
It’s a good one to bring the family to as there’s more than CX on offer. Some of you have been dragooned in to helping the catering, so there’s decent food, a beer tent for adults and for those less interested in bicycling there is the opportunity to explore the Castle, its grounds, maze, playgrounds and even the Dog Collar Museum.
I have also been given a tonne of Haribo to distribute on the day.

Tuesdays BC Cluster training

Details on the BC website, or just turn up at 5.45 pm with a £5 and your parent/guardian as Parents consent forms will be required – see last week’s email.
