Leeds Castle Cross 2017
Last weekend's round at 'the world's loveliest castle' was yet another resounding success. Rumour has it that there was a record number of entries received across all categories (over 450 in all!!) for a London League round. There were plenty of strong performances throughout on probably the toughest course in the London League. Max and Jules were flying once again as was Harry despite some mechanical maladies. Milo and Luke persevered with the mud, The Moat, The Wall and Motorhome heckling with true grit and put in good performances in their races.
Just as last year, the atmosphere was fantastic with some great racing and heckling throughout the day – a lot of which is in no small part down to the DP and HHYCC 'Crossers' and volunteers plus Leeds Castle staff without whom none of this would have been possible. So a huge thank you to everyone who came along, helped, heckled, put in or removed hundreds of stakes, got tangled in tape, waded through the Moat to erect the barriers, served drinks, baked, sold or ate cakes and of course raced for helping to make it such a success!

Sunday 19th November: London X League – Cyclopark
After last weekends excellent round at Leeds Castle, the London League heads to Cyclopark in Gravesend this Sunday. Always a fun course with a mix of surfaces, fast flowing sections, steep banks and that freezing headwind which always seems to make a 'welcome' appearance whatever the weather!
