I refuse to put mudguards on my summer bike, so I need a winter bike. I don't really want or need to buy a new one so I wondered if anyone had a half decent winter bike to sell (54cm).
Cheers, Alex.

Well it looks nice and all that but has it got mudguard eyes? I've tried those raceblade things and they're rubbish.
Also, it looks more expensive than my good bike which I'm not comfortable with.
Thanks though Ronnie.

No mudguard eyes, but i will chuck in a couple of dirty magazines, I have been using raceblades they work a treat, after a bit of adjustment

Thanks but no thanks Ronnie. I really do want a proper winter bike. Race blades are okay for keeping mud off your back but I had a whole winter last year of having to clean my front mech and bottom bracket area because the guard doesn't go all the way down there. Plus they're rubbish to ride behind my Dad tells me.
And I've got loads of dirty magazines anyway.
Cheers though!

Ribble are doing a winter frame and carbon forks for £130, I'm sure you could build it up with bits of ebay for another £150

I have a GB cycles bike for sale, has mudguard eye bosses on frame so brilliant for winter training. Frame, bars, stem, bottom bracket, brakes new this year. Rear wheel a month old - 36 spoke and specially handbuilt (supertuff). Mostly Shimano 105 with Sora levers. £300

Thanks for the offer Marty, but it's out of my price range. I was thinking more £100 to £150.
Thanks again, Alex.
