I have a new torture instrument arriving this weekend which apparently is very smart. This leaves me with a spare i-Vortex 2160. The i-Vortex is an Ant+ turbo trainer which is not compatible with the latest Ant needed to hook straight up to ZWIFT, RCG, Tacx etc. platforms. It is an electric flywheel turbo that comes with a head unit which displays cadence, watts, speed etc. Like this: www.youtube.com/watch?v=LEPexu0izXEThe Turbo comes with: 1. The turbo in perfect condition .... only kitchen pain cave use once in a blue moon 2. The head unit 3. All manuals 4. The original Tacx SW platform CD 5. Two DVD's to ride along to - Mallorca Tour and Giro Del Mortirolo 6. Front-wheel riser block 7. Ant+ stick 8. Tacx blue turbo tyre 9. The original box (although this is in storage and if wanted can be delivered after COVID) I have not used the SW for a few years. The actual TACX system is now in the cloud and does not support the i-Vortex 2160. Whether this SW still works I have not tested, but it did. Maybe a computer whiz might fix it. Personally I just trained to Sufferfest or lately RGT by connecting speed sensor, power meter and heart rate via the Ant and if I wanted to, used the head unit to change the resistance. If you are interested, £75. Available for collection (Upper Sydenham) or delivery with distancing rules to be adhered to.
