To celebrate the start of the Tour de France Femmes on 24th July 2022, Strava UK is inviting your community to the Herne Hill Velodrome for a ‘Watch Party’.
This will be an opportunity to get together with likeminded cyclists to watch and celebrate the female riders heading off from Paris, ahead of the men’s arrival, using the Champs Elysées circuit.
This a free and unticked event so will work on a first come first served basis.
There will also be a chance to get your hands on a very limited amount of Strava goodybags – more information on that to come next week.
Please keep an eye out on the Strava UK Club as an event will be created next week with further details, but we will also follow up next week with more information.
We look forward to seeing you there!
Details: Sunday 24th July 2022 Herne Hill Velodrome, 104 Burbage Rd, London SE24 9HE 1pm-4pm

Further to my last email, we are excited to say that the Tour De France Femmes ‘Watch Party’ event at Herne Hill on Sunday 24thJuly has now gone live on the Strava UK Club. Please follow this link here: www.strava.com/clubs/581470/group_events/1211574 to find out final information and click ‘attending’ so we can get an estimate on numbers. Please note that this a free and non-ticketed event, but there will be a maximum capacity on the day. This will be a chance for likeminded cyclists to get together and celebrate the female riders in this year’s Tour de France, as well as an opportunity to get your hands on some highly anticipated Strava Swag bags*. Herne Hill will also have their café open to serve hot and cold drinks, as well as snacks for the duration of the event which will be available for you to purchase if you so wish. Please check the timings on the UK Strava club as these have been slightly updated for a start time of 12pm, to be ready to watch the race from 12:30pm. *Please note the Strava Swag bags are extremely limited and will only be available to the first 100 people to arrive at the Watch Party.
