Aren't we due a club meeting sometime soon Bob? How about at the Crown and Greyhound again?

How about Friday 27th Oct - at the Crown & Greyhound as suggested. If people post up things they want to bring up I will put an agenda together.
So far, there's the re-vamped club handbook/rules, any kit updates, and getting an idea of who has won which trophies this year.

Bob
I take it this is still on? I'll bring the revamped rules along.
Does the Crown & G have another room that we could use just for the meeting? Its a good venue but impossible to hear what anyone is saying in the conservatory (or is it just me?)

Following on from the club meeting where we looked at updating the club rules. I was wondering if it would be a good idea to have the club rules available on the website, possibly as a word or pdf document to download if it's too long winded to have them as a html page? The reason I ask this is because I was wondering about the 20 or so club trophies and what they are, I can't remember them all but there are plenty of obscure one's like women's 25 mile tt trophy. Maybe we could list the trophies on the website too, just so club members know what they are should anyone decide that they'd like to have a crack at winning them?

I think having them available as a PDF sounds good. I will get them back over to Nigel now that I have finished scribbleing all over them...

Sorry - I missed the meeting. On the rules, I've updated them and sent a set to Bob and Sean Mcnulty who is casting a legal eye over them. When the comments come back I will amend as necessary and then we can post them on the web for consultation. I think we will then need an AGM to adopt them.
Kevin - good point about the trophies & champions. At the same time as updating the rules I updated the club champions list which started in 1937 but I only have the list up to 1988. If somebody can let me know the champions since then (Bob / Fred?) I'll update it. In addition the club TT records are out of date - I'm sure that Alex Peach broke all bar the 100 record.
The trophies & the competitions they are awarded for also could do with looking at but I think it's a fairly safe bet that the 2006 club cyclo cross madison title can be awarded now!

Hmm, not 100% sure but on the blue train Bilbao - Malaga 2001 Express I'd say Alex comfortably got the 100 title too..
