Conscious that the next month or two might make it a little trickier to make those early rides, it seems that rollers may be required for those missed mornings...
Thoughts on trainers v's rollers? I've used a trainer before in my garage back in Norn Ireland, but it was pretty boring. Rollers just look like a lot more fun.
Greatful if you can share the knowledge Cheers j

I don't think rollers will have enough resistance. They are designed more for warming up.

Hi Jeremy - good point by Phil. You can get rollers that have small 'hamster-cage-type' fans attached.
The main thing I'd recommend is trying both out. I have some rollers you are welcome to borrow to see if you get on with them. A lot of people don't, as it can take some practice before you are confident enought to do trackstands, wheelies and no-hands on them...

Changing your shirt on them is a good trick, too. American Classic (I think) used to make a set with small front rollers. The idea was that this increased the rolling resistance and made them more suitable for winter training.
Set them midway down a doorframe to begin with and you shouldn't come to too much grief.
