Wanted: Shimano 9 speed compatible right hand gear/brake lever.
The 105 lever on my commuting bike was destroyed in a crash and I'm looking to replace it with any suitable Shimano lever or face converting it to a 10 speed.
Anyone have a lever left over after their own 10 speed conversion?
Cheers, Greg.

OOOh, I do!!
I have matching 9 Speed Dura ace STIs (i just have to find them...) that I'm never going to use. They're well used and a show their share of blemishes but they worked perfectly last time I used them (maybe 18months ago).
I'll dig them out and get a snap (should be tomorrow) . I'll post again here when I do

Andy,
they sound great. Let me know when/if you find them and how much you want for them and we'll sort out a deal.
Cheers, G.

I can also help with an old 105 set of levers, not as good as the Dura Ace ones though. Just let me know.

Mark, If Gregory doesn't want the 105s I might be interested. How much do you want for them?

Andy, just a good home for them if they are of use. They are for a triple if that is still of interest.

Being a triple shouldn't matter on a double chainset should it? I'll take them if noone else wants them! ;D

Andy, any news on the Shimano 9 speed levers? Have you found them?
If not, is there any chance I could grab the 105's Mark? I realise you've already offered them to David, I just need something to enable me to commute as I'm scuppered without them.
105 is more than adequate for my ride to work so I'm not concerned with spec so David, if it suited you better perhaps you'd consider the Dura Ace should Andy locate them.
Cheers, Greg.

Hi Greg,
I haven't managed to pick them up yet but if Mark's ok with giving them to you then in the spirit of getting you back on the road I am more than happy for you to take them.
If anyone else has any spares they want to donate I would be happy to take them off your hands as I am trying to upgrade my crappy Tiagra levers on my commuter. In fact I am trying to upgrade most of the components so that I can use my commuter comfortably for the winter chaingangs/training so any donations gratefully received! ;D

Hey Mark, only just got your message.
That would be great if I can pick up the 105 levers. I would be available to pop around sometime tomorrow evening after about 7.30pm if that's convenient for you. I'm based at New Cross Gate so can get to East Dulwich in about 15mins.
My number is 078 9982 3947, I'll send you a text or give you a call tomorrow. Cheers Greg.

I can't find mine. Only just found this thread again — I'd had a couple of glasses wine when I replied first time round. Sorry about that.
