Michael Humphreys he say:
It would be great if Paragon riders would come along to the Ride Day we've arranged at Hog Hill on Sunday 22 Feb. We've hired the facility, so it's free to your members, and have arranged for some leading dealers to bring their demo fleets along.
The idea is to have the best kind of bike show - one where you can actually ride 'em, and it's free.
Please spread the word and make it a club day out!

Julene, thanks so much for posting this up, it was an excellent day out, and good to ride the course. My favourite bikes were: Milani SL228: just loved being pushed hard through corners Viner Maxima: very quick and smooth, and even the Zip808's were OK on a blustery day. and super record is a big advance on record V95 Nano: lovely stiff racy feel wasn't so sure about: Wilier Cento 1: too stiff in the rear to be used on real roads, would rattle you to bits Soloist Cervelo: great in a straight line, didn't like corners. anyone else got any feedback? Yes, thanks Julene for posting - great fun. This was my first experience of a closed circuit and it's great. Some very technical turns, an absolute sod of a climb, supplemented today by a 25 knot headwind when you came over the top and some really fun sweeping bends.
I'm 6'4" so I was a bit limited in what I could try but the Milani N107(?) was good fun, quite twitchy but fast and the Time VXR pro had a real thoroughbred feel to it (as you would hope from a four grand bike.)
Having spent a whole 15 minutes riding campagnolo groupsets, I've made a fully evidenced decision that I don't like them as much as shimano. Heresy yes., but there you go.
