I just received this from Simon Richardson at Norwood Paragon - sounds like a cool event, would be good to support it. I think I might go if anyone fancies joing me. I can get tickets direct from Simon if anyone is interested.
The Ibbo fund is putting on an event this Saturday at the Sports Café in London and we need to sell some more tickets if it’s going to raise serious money. I was thinking you may be able to put the word around Dulwich Paragon and perhaps drum up some interest with London based cyclists.
We’ve hired a room at the Sports Café and will be screening the Tour stage up Ventoux live. Brian Smith and Dan Lloyd will be there and we’ll be auctioning off a signed Cervelo Test Team jersey. Tickets are now reduced to £30 and include food and soft drinks.
Would be a good chance for British cyclists to cheer on Wiggins along with like minded people.
I’ve attached the flier (has the original price of £45 on it) for info. We’d prefer to sell the tickets in advance rather than people turning up and paying, but they can EOL, so to speak, if they want.
