Thanks guys, I wasn't sure how I would do as I didn't know the good riders from the Eastern region. Luckily for me I managed to ride away from them all by the 2nd lap. I won a medal (which Peggy thinks it very chewable), a bottle of fizzy wine and £50 so I think I made a small profit this weekend.
Kev B, you're lucky that you decided not to come and race. Simon made the mistake of coming along only to be told that he couldn't race as he hadn't pre-entered.
Mark rode a great race given that he's had swine flu all week, and looked the part in the brand new skinsuit that he was wearing. it's a shame that Andy hit that tree when he did as he was starting to make his way back up the field after a slow first lap.

. Kevin should storm home in the vets race I'm thinking I should have put some money on it! Brilliant stuff, well done Kevin. How about granting Mr C an exclusive interview? Hope you get a jersey and/ or trophy for your efforts. Sadly, Mr K has yet to learn the etiquette of a race winner i.e. don't take the mick out of the journo's jet washer. Could be a while before he gets an interview... Great ride, though.

Ian, now I know why you didn't get that job pitting for the BC team with that thing of yours, don't take it personally but Peggy produces more litres/minute than your 'jet washer'.
