Anyone? I must be back by 12, so can we do a 9.30 start? CSG.
I'll crank up the old marin team titanium in honour of Mr Beddis if he's coming out.

Aye, he'll be there alright (subject to not getting lost in London on the way down) and will probably be riding the faithful old blue and yellow Paul Milnes. A 9.30am meet up works for me (and therefore David as well - he knows to do as he's told).

That didn't go too well for me. The only good thing about it is that I've now worked out where the creaking in my drivetrain was coming from.
I owe Karen big time for pushing me home from West Wickham.
Hope everyone else enjoyed their ride. R

Richie, it was a shame that you weren't able to carry on. Now, I could lie and say that it wasn't a good ride... that we had to abandon early because the ground was impassable and the ride turned into a pre-rememberance Sunday re-enactment of the Somme. Or that we ended up thumbing lifts back home due to a biblical local storm that gave us all hyperthermia... But that would be lying! Despite losing you and Karen - and our way briefly, sorry everyone! - we had a really good ride which everyone seemed to enjoyed. It was just a pity that the end of your rear dérailleur's 'Shimano engineered lifespan' just happened to coincided with our perfect ride... Chapeau to Karen for the push home too!
