I'm a journalist, writing a piece for the Independent newspaper's weekly property section. The piece is about how the recent surge in the popularity of cycling is having an impact on the property market. And wondered if you or any of your members might be interested in having a quick chat on the phone for the feature...?


What I'm looking for is someone for whom bike storage/good cycle routes were a key deciding factor in the place they bought or rent... perhaps they were willing to pay over the odds, rejected lots of places that were otherwise great, purely because of the cycling issue, got a landlord to install cycle storage or have a particularly large bike collection in their household...


If you think you know anyone who'd be up for it, it'd be totally painless - they don't have to be photographed (though I am after one extrovert in the London area for the main shot). Just 15 minutes on the phone, and I'd of course be more than happy to give the club a good plug.


My deadline is ideally before Xmas, trying to catch people before they vanish - so let me know asap if you think you can help.
