I run a small company that offers road and mountain bike weekends in the French Alps. I am emailing you as I thought that members of your cycling club may be interested in such a break or you may wish to organise a special club weekend. I would be very grateful if you could pass this onto your members. If they email me (michael@traversearavis.com) saying that they are with your club then I can give them a 5% discount on the booking. I have attached our current summer poster. The weekends are to the village of St Jean de Sixt which is right in the middle of two ski resorts, Grand Bornand and La Clusaz. For mountain bikers the lifts are open to allow access to downhill and cross country tracks. For road cyclists, the Col du Colombiere and Col du Aravis (part of last year's Tour) are on the door step and we also will drive you to different start points and/or finish points so we can tailor rides to the individual's capabilities. For the weekends (or in fact mid week trips) you would stay in the Hotel Beau Site with breakfast and evening meals. There is also an outdoor pool to relax in after a day on the bikes. Geneva airport is 1 hour away, our prices include transfers so all you need to do is get a cheap flight to there. Have a look at www.traversearavis.comKind regards Michael
