Mark O, Ian Parker and me rode this last year and I'd recommend it. Don't make the mistake of thinking it's an English type sportive - it really is a race, lined out from the minute you leave the park and hit the road. Great organisation, quiet roads and free food and drinks when you finish. And if you're really lucky, as we were, you might get to meet 'Le Blaireau' (aka Bernard Hinault) who is the event patron.
