As we enter the Olympic year, the 2012 School Games Cycling competition for the elite athletes across the UK will be at the Velodrome in May. London Youth Games Foundation has been asked by Youth Sport Trust to deliver on the 2012 School Games volunteer programme in East London in May 2012. With your sport being at the pinnacle of the event I am really keen to ensure that the opportunity to volunteer is offered across your quality volunteers and coaches in London and the South East. This opportunity is available to those aged 16+. There is no upper age limit. Final applications close on 31 January 2012, 5pm.

From 6th - 9th May the 2012 School Games, a unique multi-sport event for elite athletes of school age, will be held in London at many of the Olympic venues including the Olympic Stadium, Aquatics Centre and Velodrome. Around 1600 athletes from across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland will compete in 12 sports, ranging from Cycling to Wheelchair Basketball.
