I am going to run a trial chain gang on Thursday 22nd March. The ride is aimed specifically at Junior riders and it’s goal is to build up speed, endurance and group riding skills to help their racing along with the ability and confidence to join the adult Wednesday and later Tuesday and Thursday evening gangs.
Starting at Elmers End at 7.15pm we will set off after the adult ride, following the same route to the top of Badgers Mount, returning via Bromley Common, Shortlands to finish at the top of Crystal Palace arriving at by 9-9.15 pm. (The route returns via Masons Hill in Bromley, riders can leave at that point if necessary)
The ride is open only to those who have ridden in the faster Saturday Groups, DP and BC membership is compulsory, as are lights (2 rear, 1 front) and helmets.
Please check the route (it’s on the DP web site) and ensure that you bring along a signed parents’ consent form with you.
Parents/Guardians must be contactable and available to collect your charge should the need arise.
