Bill Wright and I will be running a series of evening training sessions on the trails at the back of the velodrome. Think interval training on mountain or cross bikes. Purpose is to increase cardio vascular fitness and endurance while tiring you out completely.
As these rides concentrate on fitness rather than MTB riding skill, you don’t need a state of the art mountain bike, nor amazing handling skills, just enthusiasm. There will be bikes on site you can borrow if necessary.
Start time 6.30 by the Picnic tables at the far side of the velodrome, finishing at dusk, £ 2 levy per session.
NB I’ll try and run the DP Junior Chain Gang on alternate Thursday evenings during the Summer
