I will be running the promised Junior Chain Gang tonight. This is a hard endurance ride which will help you ride effectively and confidently within a group at speed.
The ride starts atr Elmers End and will follow the normal winter chain route, Elmers End>West Wickham|>Hayes Commons>A21>Green St Green>Badgers Mount. Returning along the A21>Bromley>back of Beckenham>Penge to the end at the top of Crystal Palace Hill by the Caravan Park.
The ride is open only to confident riders aged 15 who have ridden on the DP Saturday rides in the faster youth group. This ride will follow the route of the adult ride but will not be part of it.
As this is a ride on the road rules apply:
BC and either HHYCC or DP membership mandatory
Helmets must be worn
Adequate lights (ideally 2 rear and 1 front)
Bring spare inner tube
Water and Snack
Parent/Guardians consent form
