Another tough week of exams complete and the endless vista of half time ahead, pity the weather has turned- two consecutive day of sun and that's your summer done.....
Saturday Rides this week.
Dave and I will be up some misty mountain in the back end of Wales with HHYCC riding on hills to rival those we normally frequent outside Bromley. Thus we will not be leading any Youth or Junior road rides this Saturday. Juniors are well come to join any of the adult groups- just please show some respect and behave.
London to Dunwich- July 12/3
As we have discussed before, this ride is a cycling must- overnight from Stratford to Dunwich on the Suffolk coast. While the ride is free the return on the Dulwich bus is not and tickets are highly sought after. I have reserved 4 places and I need to know who is definitely coming and this needs to be backed up with money (£28). Failure to get organised will result in Dave Joss offering the places to adult riders on the reserve list. Open to the stronger DP Juniors and Espoires only.
Tuesday evening TT at Olympic Velodrome (or whatever it is called now)
Interesting little TT series on a Tuesday evening with entry on the line, may be something to consider if you have failed to get in to Palace. Details at www.leavalleycc.co.uk/lvccvelopark10s.pdf. Let me know if any of you are going up there and I'll make an effort to join you.
Beastway MTB Wednesday at Hog Hill
Great little series- in my view the only way to race at Hog Hill. Race starts at 7.30 with some strong competition.(me) Youth do a half hour race within the adult course.
Palace Crits
Remember these are oversubscribed and entry on the line for Juniors is not a possibility, please keep an eye on Riderhq. The next race with entries is the 10th June, don't vacillate, enter now it will fill fast. (Youth can enter on the night)
Thats about it- enjoy the half term and get some riding in between the endless revision.
