I see that some of you more adventurous types ventured dangerously far north of the river to the uplands of Allie Pally for the Rapha Cross last weekend. In the youth race Freddie pipped Titouan to 4th place ably supported by Hayden, Eddie and Max. Stan held his position in the Juniors coming in 5th. Brave lads the lot of you.
This Saturday – 1st November -Road Ride and Sprint technique.
This week its a road ride and skills session on sprinting. Arrive at the velodrome at 8.45 to leave at 9, we’ll ride up to Addington for the skills bit, then progress to Pilgrims Way to put it all into practice. Ride will be suitable for strong youths and Juniors. If you want to borrow one of the brand new HHYCC road bikes, please turn up on time so we can set you up properly.
Part of the ride will be on the road so normal rules apply:
London Cross League - Sunday
This Sunday, a local one at the back end of Croydon/Addington way- its a playing field course, but being dry and hosted by VCL it should be good. Details on www.londonxleague.co.uk
Wednesday Evening DP Chain Gangs on the track
Dulwich Junior members are welcome to join these sessions as well as or instead of the Thursday evening session, this week is an ‘intermediate’ session so will more structured, a little like the Thursday session but nastier.
Thursday Chain Gangs on the track
Any one racing or wanting to race should be doing these sessions on a regular basis now. 7.00 pm, £ 3 per session- bring a parent’s consent form to your first one.
Sunday 9th November Gorrick Autumn series.
There is no London League this weekend so a large presence of light blue is requested on the line. I am particularly keen to get a full young Dulwich team together so get your kit sorted and plan to be there. www.gorrick.co.uk
