Anybody going to this, it's usually a good course, (hills) I've also heard that they built some steps to run up which could make it a bit more…. interesting?!

I'm planning on heading over. Consensus is that it'll be a mud-fest.

@bwd441- what happened? Was your bike a victim of the half-dry half-wet sticky mud?

Nowhere near a podium this week. Completely the wrong tyres turned my nimble machine into a course harvester with integral storage. How did the rest of you get on in the senior race?

Hard course. Were they mud tyres Andy? You could hear my Rhinos mowing the grass underneath the mud, and sure enough, every lap I had to pull the mud packed clippings out from my brake bridge.
In the end I opted to run just about everything and it didn't work out too badly.

Good effort Stu. Tyres were too tread heavy for the course so they picked up everything. Like yourself ended up running a good proportion of each lap and made up a few places.

Glad I decided to skip this as first race of the season - with all the bike lugging and running it sounds like I would have had to buy a new spine for Christmas..
