Another fine turnout for the last of the Gorrick Spring series, a great course on a fine day with some reasonable results..
Saturday 28th March - No Youth Ride this Saturday
However you have loads of options to do something else other than stay in bed:
1. Join an adult group of Dulwich Riders, most of you will be able to keep up with a faster group, please behave and don’t rip their legs off.
2. Road racing at Gravesend or Hog Hill, I know some of you are planning to race at either venue, if you are racing, Good luck and let me know how you get on. Post in the thread below if you need a lift.
3. Join Dave and I - we’ll be coaching MTB skills at the velodrome with HHYCC, suggested session times 11 till 1pm
4. Err.. um that’s it…………..
Parents/Guardians/Rescuers- Please be aware that we are not offering any Youth/Junior specific rides this Saturday. If your charge joins a Saturday Group Ride I am confident other adult riders will look after your charge however I cannot guarantee the same care we normally offer. Please ensure your young rider sets off with a fully charged phone and you are able to rescue him/her if necessary.
Sunday 29th March All day MTB training session at Swingley/Crowthorne Woods
This is the first of a series of all day MTB rides and training sessions that Dave and I will be running. Expect 4 to 5 hours on the bike, with plenty of opportunity to try and retry loads of different obstacles and other ‘technical trail features’ aka bomb holes, drop offs, short climbs, long descents and even a gully or two, it’ll be a great day out and a fantastic opportunity to get to grips with some awesome lumps and bumps.

If you are planning to come and need transport please either post on the forum or reply to this email and we’ll see what can be arranged. Note this day is aimed at riders of all ages and abilities - parents are especially welcome.
Wednesday Evening Chain Gangs with Dulwich.
These are becoming increasingly well paced - sometimes overly so for antiques such as myself.
This ride is open only to the stronger Juniors, and is excellent way to build fitness and group riding skills.
Easter Holiday Stuff at Gravesend
Attached is a flyer from BC who have arranged a series of sessions at Gravesend, it’s worth checking the BC website to see what is on offer at Stratford, Hog Hill and Herne Hill.
Afan MTB weekend - 23rd- 25th May
This is a fun MTB (rather a lot of MTB week, apologies) run by HHYCC, there is a contingent of older riders and we will cover some serious mileage over some amazing trails. The offer is extended to all Dulwich Youth, Junior and Espoir members. Talk to Mark Hindley for further details.
Regards
Charlie
