Does anyone have a tandem that needs some exercise? If so, Lady T and I are more than willing to take it out for a quick spin through France at the end of July.

I have a racing tandem, which is highly valued and in mint condition. Campag throughout, except chainset. It cost a fortune and until my wife gets fit or until someone volunteers themsleves for a time trial it's sitting idle.
It's not set up for touring. It has no mudguards or pannier racks and the wheels are carbon tri-spokes.

Lord Nic, you cannot be serious.
Take that to France and I'd give the relationship a week, tops.

Forgot to add that I do have spoked wheels that are suitable for a tandem ( 36 spokes, campag hubs ). However, requires block, inner tube and tyres.

Thanks for the offer James, but your steed sounds too valuable for a coast-to-coast hack through France. Carbon tri-spokes are a touring must have though! Actually, I have availed myself one of these: www.cannondale.com/bikes/05/cusa/model-5RT.htmlThe new blue train leaves Dieppe on on Saturday 15th, bound for Monaco and stopping at any Speciality Cheese Shop along the way. Any Paragonistas on the Continent at the same time?
