One of the more notable finishes in the series from Titouan - last Sunday’s Cross was a true bike trashing mud fest; battling Will Cooper for first place until the mud won, Titouan undaunted, picked up the bike and ran to secure a second. Ed secured his favoured 5th and Max continued his run of top 3 results.
Ed, Titouan and Abby are all riding in the Nationals this week at Ipswich - I wish them all speed and Brian and Amel good luck in the pits……..
Saturday 28th November Cross training ride
We’ll be leading a combined training ride out to Mitcham Common this Saturday, suitable for riders who normally ride out with Geoff and Mark and those you all Juniors. The group will joined by adult Dulwich Riders - parents/guardians are positively encouraged to tag along.
We also have a number of BC bikes (Government Bikes) available to lend to Youths, Juniors and Women who don’t have their own bike and want to race.
Nominally meeting at 9 at the velodrome we’ll do a bike fit for those borrowing a bike and aim to leave by 9.30am, returning to Cafe Paradou by about 1pm.
The session will cover the favorites of Cross, mounting, remounting, cornering in the mud, off camber riding in the mud, descending in the mud and anything else we can think of that involves mud.
Part of the ride will be on road so normal pack drill pls
