Apologies if this is the wrong part of the forum, but I'm considering investing in a better turbo trainer. Specifically, I'm looking for one where you can pre-program the watts - i.e. whatever cadence you pedal at, it adjusts the resistance to keep you at the same power output. It just appeals to me to be able to do a session without having to keep looking at my Garmin to check I'm hitting my numbers right.
A little investigation suggests that the Wahoo Kickr will do the job at a premium, and that the Tacx Genius or Vortex Smart will do it for somewhat less. Does anyone have any experience of any of these trainers? Or do you know any other models that would offer this feature?

Well I think I'm pretty confident that the Kickr would do the job - so I suppose my question would be if anyone had any experience with setting a controlled wattage on the Vortex or i-Genius Smart trainers. How well did they work? Were there any unexpected issues or problems? Would you recommend them?
