I packed in as well at Deer's Leap. The high point was the start. It was a big field but speedy guys were thin on the ground so the starter had to scrape the barrel a bit . My first time being gridded!
David F broke his seatpost early on, so Alex R was the only Dulwich finisher.

That's me in the pic, and I can assure you, there was no fun in this section - just a burning pain in my legs all the way up.
