Yep, I'm entered too! Hopefully cos it'll be dark, no one will see me wobble round - or hear me scream! As for a costume... Surely this has Kevin written all over it?!

Now where is my son's old bat costume....

I'm in too! after last nights dissasterous race (fell three bloddy times! and was late!) I think I will go as a MUMMY- already wrapped in bandages to avoid the trouble of doing i later.
or come to think of it- a TRON outfit- at least you will see where you are going with all those lights right?

I've entered.
Giving me about 6 weeks to a) learn how to ride a cyclo cross bike off road competently b) learn how to do it in the dark.

Nice one Melissa - so you've got yourself a cross bike.
That means there are 3 Dulwich ladies doing this (Mel, Delia and myself). There are apparently 5 women's places left. Anymore for anymore? Alternatively if you are not sure about entering the all women's race you can enter the All comers Go Race. It's aimed at novices and you don't need a BC licence to do it. Mountain bikes are welcome.

How's everyone getting on with outfits? I just ordered mine. Gonna look like a absolute freak. That's all for now.

Costume shouldn't be a worry... lights however are another matter. What's the best thing to go for - any 'budget' lights worth looking out for?

David, I am trying to decide whether to do the Go Ride race (I have no BC racing license) but I have a set of Aye Ups you can borrow if I decide against it.

Costume shouldn't be a worry... Erm, really Mr Rees? The costume might not be a worry for you but my fingers will be bleeding from all the sewing I have to do. What would the suffragettes think? Meanwhile there is the prospect of you having fancy lights and I have to stick a hand torch to my head. I feel a domestic coming on. Grrr.
